The Restoring Lives Program, in partnership with RUSH Arts Philadelphia, is a workforce development and life transformation program for youth and adults navigating instability, disconnection, or justice system involvement. Whether returning home after incarceration or seeking structure through a court referral, our program offers a hands-on, healing-centered path to a better future.
Our 18–24 month adult apprenticeship track delivers in-demand trade training (carpentry, construction, more) paired with weekly life mastery sessions focused on emotional intelligence, communication, financial literacy, and personal development. Participants receive stipends, meals, and wraparound support as they develop the skills, confidence, and capacity to reclaim their futures and contribute to their communities.
Our Youth Safe Haven track offers daily engagement, vocational exposure, and trusted mentorship for court-referred youth or young people in need of structure. We don’t just keep them off the streets — we guide them into purpose, connection, and future opportunity.
Restoring Lives is more than a job training program. We are building a culture of stability, dignity, and new beginnings — block by block and life by life.
We serve individuals facing serious life barriers — from incarceration and court involvement to poverty and disconnection. But our vision doesn’t stop with them. The Restoring Lives Program is tackling the root causes of instability by addressing lack of opportunity, fragmented support systems, and community erosion.
By investing in workforce development, emotional intelligence, and economic mobility, we’re not just preparing people for jobs — we're restoring safety, dignity, and growth to our neighborhoods. From the construction site to the classroom, we are building futures that last.
